Overview

A full window replacement programme delivered with minimal disruption, improving thermal performance, safety, and the building’s appearance.

The challenge

Windows installed in the 1980s had reached end of life, reducing thermal performance and increasing maintenance.

There were safety and compliance concerns with current building regulations.

The trust needed durable, efficient replacements with consistent appearance and minimal disruption to residents.

Our approach

We specified bespoke Accoya timber windows for stability, durability, and decay resistance.

Each unit was finished in Light Oak stain, with satin chrome ironmongery for a modern, high-quality finish.

Scaffolding was erected on day one to ensure immediate installation and an efficient programme.

Door styles were matched to maintain a unified appearance across the property.

Toughened safety glazing was specified throughout, with casement restrictors fitted where required.

The result

Installation completed within the agreed timeframe, with scaffolding removed ahead of schedule.

The new windows improved thermal performance, security, and overall appearance.

Residents gained increased comfort and ease of operation, while the trust reported minimal disruption.

The client was highly satisfied and has since instructed further contracts.
